• Shami™ Low-Lint Synthetic Fiber Cleaning Cloths

  Ideal for cleaning and polishing screens, stencils, squeegees, spatulas, electronic equipment and general cleanroom use.  Shami™ cloths are washable and retain their low-lint properties over many laundry cycles.  Their larger size (9" x 9") and superior absorbency permit quick clean up with most cleaning solvents.  The spun fibers used in Shami™ cloths make precious metal reclaim easy.

• Screen Print Accessories

  Over the years, AMI has developed many items to make your job easier and more productive, among them:

  • Adjustable Tool Plates

    These accommodate most commercial substrate sizes from 0.375" x 0.500" through 21" x 21".  Reconfiguring tool plates to handle different sizes is simple and straightforward.  Tool plates provide vacuum holddown holes for holding substrates securely.

  • Custom Tool Plates

    We build and ship a variety of tool plates for specific purposes; over the past 45 years, we've seen nearly everything!

    Tool plates for thick-film/hybrid microelectronic circuits are available with mechanical or manual snuggers, and with 3-pin (tungsten carbide) fixed or adjustable edge references.

    For flex circuits and LTCC, we offer both porous stone inserts and simulated stone with an array of .020" vacuum hole perforations on 0.25" centers. 

    For PCB's, we can accommodate either single-sided or double-sided boards with 2-pin (tungsten carbide) tooling hole references.

    Vacuum pull-through of material for via fill is also available.  A second vacuum source is typically required for this pull-through.

    All our tool plates are hard coat anodized and may also be Teflon impregnated to minimize friction and extend useful life.

  • Vacuum Sources

    AMI printers with vacuum-lock stages and vacuum holddown tool plates are provided with vacuum plumbing and connections for customer-supplied (house) vacuum as standard equipment.  If no house vacuum is available, AMI offers as optional equipment:

    • A venturi effect vacuum generator powered by the house pressurized air supply, or
    • An appropriately sized electric pump driven vacuum generator

  • Screen Leveling Jigs

    For quick and accurate leveling of screen frame mounting plates with the substrate workholder surface, AMI screen leveling jigs save time, add convenience, and help get everything parallel.  The jigs accommodate a wide variety of frame sizes.

  • Screen Tension Gauges

    These gauges can monitor screen tension and identify excessive screen wear signaling the end of the screen's useful life.  Gauges can handle screens up to 12" x 12" and calibrate easily in under a minute.
