Provides
Expanded Capacity, Adjustable Width, and Programmable Timing
AMI introduces the new
MTF-B01, an expanded capacity In-line Buffer. This unit accommodates
up to 120 PCBs, wafers or ceramic
substrates. The first in, first out (FIFO)
buffer offers programmable index dwell time, is easily adjusted for
substrate width and offers a pass-through feature to bypass buffering
when not necessary.
The buffer has been designed to meet PCB
assembly, Solar Cell, and Printed
Inks/Hybrid circuit
production needs. It
can be used prior to drying of certain inks to allow for “settling time” or
it can be used after the dryer/furnace to accept substrates when the next
process is not online. Designed to meet CE and SMEMA standards, the PLC
controlled buffer can be integrated into production lines with
equipment from most manufacturers. The adjustable speed entrance and exit
edge rails can be ordered as front-, rear-, or center-justified.
